Cherry Ruffino’s team of realtors did everything they could to make the home purchasing process as stress free as possible. I asked to see many houses, and Rachel was always ready and willing to show me all my requests basically anytime of day on any day. Katie talked me through the process so that I became knowledgeable and well prepared for what is often viewed as a stressful series of events. The whole team put in an extreme amount of effort, were extremely helpful, kind, and patient. Once I finally found the house I was looking for, they talked me through the contract so that there were no surprises, and worked on it so that it was a great deal. After everything close, they let me use their moving truck so that I did not have to pay for one. Overall, I am very pleased with the whole situation, and I strongly recommend them for anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
In the February-March 2016 timeframe, my wife and I sold our home on Lake Conroe and moved to College Station (Pebble Creek) Texas. In the process, our Coldwell Banker realtor referred us to their office in College Station, and Katie Ruffino became our realtor there. She did a fantastic job of first, listening to our “druthers” regarding a new home and its location merits; and then showing us the options. Pleasant, competent, efficient; these are her attributes, and the result was the purchase of a beautiful new Mariott garden home which she brokered. So to say the least, we certainly bonded with Katie and easily did business “on the same page” the entire process. It was a successful and pleasant endeavor, and we thank her and salute her for her kindness and professionalism.
After dealing with and leaving two other real estate agents who were less than impressive, my husband and I bought our first house through Joey and the rest of the Ruffino team and we more than made them work hard. My husband was deployed through the whole process from house hunting to closing and they were more than accommodating. Joey walked through houses with us multiple times, on weekends and weekdays, and at varied times during the day (including after normal business hours) so I could view them, my mom could view them, and so we could get my husband on Skype so HE could view them. I never got the feeling that we were an inconvenience or difficult to deal with and Joey was always more than willing to work around our unique situation, including looking for every cat in the tri-county area with my 2 year old so I could take my time really looking at the house. I felt like he really understood what we needed and what we wanted and did a great job of showing us houses that fit in those guidelines. With Joey’s help, we ended up buying a house that not only had all of our must-haves, but also all of our would-like to haves, was in our price range, AND also in the district for the best elementary school in Bryan! We got more than I ever expected to get in our first home and I am fully confident that it was because of the team at Cherry Ruffino’s. From the initial phone call until closing someone from the Ruffino office kept us informed and made us feel like we were just as important as a client looking for a multi-million dollar home, even after closing was thrown into limbo through the death of the seller. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the BCS area.
Cherry and her team were great helping my wife and me find our first home. They were very knowledgeable about the area, communicated promptly regardless of time of day (we got replies as early as 5am and as late as midnight), and worked diligently to find us a home. It took us about 4 months to find a house due to being outbid multiple times, but they made it their mission to find us the right home.
Cherry did a wonderful job in helping us find a house. She was responsive and able to customize houses she picked based on what we were looking for. She worked very hard to accommodate our quick time frame, and, ultimately, we got exactly what we were looking for. Finally, when it came time to make some updates to the house we bought she was SO helpful in connecting up with amazing contractors to get the jobs done that we want. Cherry did an outstanding job.
Katie Ruffino is an exceptional individual. We were so impressed with her ability to see situations in prospective homes that we would never have noticed. Case in point, as we looked at one particular house, we had an initial favorable impression but Katie noticed that the refrigerator was mis-placed for the floorplan, leading to an on-going irritating situation had we bought that home. Katie utilitzed her acute observational skills throughout our search and we ended up finding the home of our dreams. Her service didn’t end there – for the next three weeks, we had contractors/painters, etc. coming to our future home and she was always there with us, asking pertinent questions of us and the contractors. This extremely professional help didn’t end with Katie and Kathy (our closing expert)…the entire team at Cherry Ruffino’s office space was very friendly and extremely helpful. Our home-buying experience could not have been more pleasant. Exceptional service from contract negotiations to closing!!
The Cherry Ruffino group was very helpful when I bought my house. They answered all my questions and met all my expect ions. I highly recommend them.i noticed their office years ago and decided then I would use their services. The showed me two houses and were very good at writing and presenting my offers and followed through till signing. Even after signing they were available to advise me about contractors.
My wife recently accepted a position at Texas A&M. So I began searching for homes in College Station to buy. Living in CA, I prepared myself as I was sure the process of buying a home out of state was going to be problematic and stressful. I began my search on Realtor.com, and requested information on several homes from several different real estate agents. All of my requests were answered by an automatic reply from the agents. However, only one agent took the time to personally reply to my request and that was Cherry Ruffino. My instincts told me this is the agent my wife and I should work with.
My instincts proved correct. One of Cherry’s team members, Katie greeted my wife and I at our hotel, welcomed us to Texas, and handed us a welcome gift and a folder containing information on all of the homes she had prepared for us to view. I have personally witnessed customer service within the real estate world degrade over the past decade. We could tell right away Katie had put in a lot of work prior to meeting with us. She had scheduled times for us to view homes, sellers knew when we were scheduled to arrive, and we had printable information on all of the homes we were interested in as well as information on additional homes that fit our needs. Our trip was short and Katie endured long hours and eagerly took on any task we requested of her. No task was too large or small for her to handle. Her knowledge and experience proved to be invaluable in seeing that every intricate detail of the home buying process was addressed.
I cannot thank Katie enough and would highly recommend Cherry’s team to anyone interested in purchasing a home. I look forward to working with her team again, as we search for cabin on some acreage.
